New Hope Brain Keepers

OUR MISSION

We will not accept a future devastated by Alzheimer’s. Our mission is to educate and empower people to practice the lifestyle habits known to result in better Brain Health and point the way towards a future that is less encumbered by Alzheimer’s. We work to help people learn that they can play the key role in determining their future brain health outcome and aspire to give them a future they can be excited about living.

OUR VISION

We see getting people to Live a Brain Healthy Lifestyle as America’s best hope for making the future, with respect to Alzheimer’s, a brighter one.

Three key objectives represent our vision for helping change the direction America is headed:

  • To give God the glory in everything we do.
  • To unlock a better tomorrow by reducing the future number of people who live with Alzheimer’s.
  • To Reach Underserved Communities that often include population segments most susceptible to Alzheimer’s (Women, African Americans, Hispanics).

THE BRAIN KEEPER CHANGE AGENT PLEDGE

To better the future for people with Alzheimer’s. To care for their caregivers. To boldly reach underserved communities that are often those most susceptible to Alzheimer’s. To help bring about a world that is free of Alzheimer’s. To entrust my efforts to God and give Him the glory!

OUR HISTORY

New Hope Brain Keepers was founded by Don Veenstra and a dedicated group of people with a heart for serving those with Alzheimer’s concerns. Don’s unique blend of business experience, combined with what he learned operating his Brain Fitness Coaching business since 2005, lead him to establish this nonprofit. In doing so, people are now starting to understand that Alzheimer’s is not inevitable or the end if diagnosed with it.

By sharing the good news this New Message of Hope represents, we are able to help people across America address Alzheimer’s with a New Plan-of-Action. It is a person-centered plan that sees people preventing Alzheimer’s by adjusting poor lifestyle habits as early on in life as possible. And for those who already have Alzheimer’s, it is a plan that no longer has them seeing themselves as an “Alzheimer’s sufferer or victim,” but flipping the script to being a “person living with Alzheimer’s” and living well!
